 आज  का ये  दिन मेरा बड़ा सूहना था। 

आपका "kya baat" जैहन में रवाना था।।

कुछ लोग देखकर पागल कह रहे थे मुझको।

कुछ लोग देखकर कह रहे, थे दीवाना था।।

आज  अब  पूछते  है  बड़े  मियाँ  मुझको।

कोई  नहीं  पूछता,  था  इक  जमाना  था।।

अब  खूशी  से  बैठ  गया  हूँ उस  गली  में मै।

जिस गली में रोज मेरा आना जाना था।।

आपके "sunder" शब्द ने कर दिया हरा भरा।

वरना "निर्मल" पैहले तो इक विराना था।।
